Daisy Yang is a Taiwanese-Canadian visual storyteller who started her career as an interior designer prior to photography. Her keen interest in human rights issues and social justice has led her on a path where she freely investigates social issues through photography and interviews, placing a focus on migration, identity, and mental health issues. She spent five years in Nepal documenting the social construction of masculinity and power. More recently, she’s back at home in BC, Canada, where she continues her quest to question and understand the social implication on human behaviour and the natural environment.
